Hello my dear people! Here, in Piraquara we findourselves, healthy
and happy and still in Piraquara. . . seriously. .. the jokes from the members
are getting old. . . every time, "Wow, Sister Ventura, You're still here?
Where's Ventura?? Oh good, she still here? She'll know, Sis. V, you're going to
stay here until the end of you're missions?? Don't you go home soon? Really,
you've been here 8 months?" AHahaha and on and on, it's good times my
friends:)
Ok, quickly, this week was great but I don't have a lot of time to
write. . . I'll just highlight:
-If you all could pray for Luiz Fernando, he wasn't confirmed
yesterday because he was embarrassed because he messed up a little this week
with the goals we were working on-but he's doing so well and needs support,
love and prayers!
-Celso, (remember his Uncle^^?) told us the other day during a
lesson with Luiz while bearing his testimony that the Gospel has made such a
difference in his life. He told us that the day that Sis. Cox and I found him
walking in the road he was contemplating taking his own life, things were just
going so poorly-but, he got baptized, starting paying tithing faithfully the
first week, and has only missed one sunday since. Wow. I didn't even know about
this until about 2 days ago. It is such a privilege to be doing this work! I
can't even explain! I remembered a scripture the other day in Jacoaaaaaaaaba
1:19 that talks about edifying our offices so that the sins of the people that
we are responsible for won't dirty our garments at the last day. I am literally
working with the salvatoin of these people every day, and my own! It is such a
responsibility and a blessing:) Actually that's cool, with more responsibility
comes more blessings:) But, this scripture applies to all of us. we all have
callings to magnify!
-something random, I've been talking a lot in my sleep this past
week so that's different buuuut, it's been reportedt that I'm talking in
Portuguese!! Yuuuus.
Also if ya'll could keep praying that I can continue being healthy
so that I can keep working and helping these people :)
Thank you! I love you all so very much!
looooaoove,
Sister Ventura
p.s sorry that the "a" key on this keyboard is having a
hard day today. . . . :)
